Xerox set to launch new ad campagin aimed frugal offices

Xerox is launching a new campaign in the U.S. this week aimed at the office market, following a successful "Extreme Offices" viral campaign in Europe by Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe/Y&R London that yielded over 1 million views as of last week. This campaign by Y&R New York, with media placements by Media Edge CIA, is a bit different than typical Xerox campaigns. The goal of the campaign is to raise awareness of how cost effective Xerox office color products are and how they really are the right choice for the frugal office.

At FrugalColor.com, click on "explore frugality" for a virtual goal, acronymanator, diversion maker, and templates for office coffee runs, office blinders and a Mad Libs-inspired conference report. In addion the site also features some funny office videos the folks at Xerox hope will get passed around.

TV ads begin airing this week on cable networks and over the weekend on major networks. The first one airing features a "mute" button and it's basically everyone's nightmare when it comes to mute buttons. Watch the spot below.
