LeBron James was forced to leave Game 1 of the NBA Finals because of cramps and Gatorade's twitter account was amusing themselves by insunuating this was all due to the fact that he's not drinking it. Lebron signed with Powerade and it seems Gatorade is a bit cranky about that.
The tweets were up only for a few hours, but Gatorade has now apologized for the tweets.
One of the now-deleted tweets said: "The person cramping wasn't our client. Our athletes can take the heat."
This guy may have started the conversation, as Gatorade replied to him "We were waiting on the sidelines, but he prefers to drink something else."
WHERE WERE YOU WHEN LEBRON NEEDED YOU?????? @Gatorade
