Heartwarming story. A snowstorm knocks out power, destroying the holidays and Grandpa turns into such a depressive sad sack. It's not even that Thanksgiving is over. His life is over. Even his dog can't cheer him. I was half-expecting him to finish his dinner knock back some nembutals and throw the noose up over the rafters. But lo and behold, his family with enough SUV power to plow through the snow arrives to save grandpa! Faith in humanity restored, etc! This was such a great moment. It should have ended with the merriment.

But then.

They make the granddaughter say "Plus, we have Quattro, grandpa."

They turned the granddaughter into the biggest shill in all the land.

Could you imagine if this client worked on the movie "It's a wonderful life?"

Client: DAMMIT, I TOLD YOU, THE LINE IS "EVERY TIME A BELL RINGS AN ANGEL GETS HIS WINGS. SPONSORED BY QUATTRO."

Talk about ruining the holidays. It was fine as a brand spot.
